Since our founding in 2004, BID NBFI has remained committed to expanding financial inclusion for low- and middle-income individuals, self-employed entrepreneurs, and micro, small, and medium enterprises across Mongolia. Through responsible and professional financial services, we have provided USD 316.1 million in loans to more than 508,929 clients — helping strengthen household stability, enable business growth, and generate meaningful social impact across our 21+ branches in Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan, Erdenet, Mörön, and Ulaangom, served by over 120 dedicated specialists.
Despite economic headwinds, BID NBFI has continued to grow with resilience. We have pioneered the Information Security standard ISO 27001:2022 — the first in Mongolia, now recertified for the third time — and earned the Client Protection Certificate Silver Badge from MicrofinanzaRating of Italy, following a successful on-site audit. We are proud to lead our sector in good governance, and our continued ability to secure international financing — even through challenging economic periods — reflects the credibility and trust we have built over two decades.
Beyond traditional lending, we actively promote gender equality and environmental sustainability through our Green Loans, Eco Loans, and Loans for Women Entrepreneurs — ensuring our products are environmentally friendly, gender-inclusive, legally compliant, and fully protective of client data. Our BID App further expands access by providing clients with a convenient digital platform for a growing range of financial services.
